Sanya is embarrassed by her unique job description as the quality assurance manager at an organization that sells condoms. Can she ever feel comfortable working in her job and inform others about the necessity of having safe sexual relations?

Chhatriwali is a 2022 Hindi-language comedy-drama film. The release date of the film is December 2022. Directed by Tejas Prabhaa. The movie stars Rakul Preet Singh, Satish Kaushik, and Sumeet Vyas in Hindi film in prominent roles. The film is made under the banner of RSVP in collaboration with RSVP. It is based on an unemployed college graduate desperate for a job in a small town.
Chhatriwali Movie Review
Following Aparshakti Khurana's Helmet (2019), and Nushrratt Bharuccha's Janhit Mein Jaari (2022), Chhatriwali is the latest film in the social dramas that use comedy to address controversial topics like "contraceptives" and "safe sex". The story is set in Karnal (Haryana) Chemist-educator Sanya (Rakul Preet Singh) becomes a crusader for the local population determined to discredit sexual education. To meet the needs, Sanya takes up the job of the quality control director at the condom factory. At first, she is shy and unsure however, she soon feels comfortable with her unique decision after Mr Lamba (Satish Kaushik) the owner of the company, assists her in understanding the importance of her job.
The situation changes when Sanya is in love with Rishi (Sumeet Vyas) and they get married and she doesn't know how she earns money. Instead, she is deceived by her mom (Dolly Ahluwalia) and relatives by pretending that she works for an umbrella firm. The plot is predictable, but enjoyable right at the beginning. Produced by Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar. Written and co-written by Sanchit and Priyadarshee Srivastava. Chhatriwali appears to be a mix-up of the films Helmet and Janhit Mein Jaari. The majority of the scenes and scenes are clichéd in the film, from Sanya being a liar about her job to everyone, to an awkward scenario Rishi confronts when buying condoms. Like other films based on this concept in the beginning, the first half of the movie is well-crafted before the social commentary problem is raised, which makes the second half of the film a slow burn.
The film tries to establish a tenuous connection between condoms as well as stopping abortion. Sanya discovers her activist side and attacks condoms' use in conjunction with birth control pills by using the catchy line " mujhse karna hai pyaar, toh condom ko karo sweekar," which leads to a discussion among women who are unable to speak out. Rakul Preet Singh is an excellent filmmaker of the film which runs the length of 117 mins. Dolly Ahluwalia is given little to do as Sanya's mother. Sumeet Vyas does an amazing performance playing Rishi an individual who is devoted to the woman he loves with all of his heart but thinks that "condoms are meant for couples, not couples who are married. Rajesh Tailang who plays Bhaiji Professor of Biology believes that sex education isn't necessary for students, and Prachee Shah Paandya as his wife, both play these characters well. Satish Kaushik makes a great impression in the role of his character, Mr. Lamba however his gaudy hairstyle isn't.
Although Sunidhi Chauhan's Special Edition Kudi is upbeat, the other film songs do not force you to click the "reply" button. Ultimately, it's a humorous, predictable film that could have been packaged and presented more imaginatively and distinctively. But, it's an enjoyable film if it is done with the right intention.
